On this occasion, members of the First Company Governor's Foot Guard formed an honor guard for Lt. Governor M. Jodi Rell at a ceremony honoring members of the Connecticut National Guard who have been placed on active duty as part of Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Noble Eagle. The ceremony, for members of the 250th Medium Girder Bridge Company, the 242nd Engineer Battalion, the 143rd Military Police Company and the 103rd Fighter Wing, was held at the State Armory in Hartford.
